Yesterday my group and I shot some more pictures for our digipak and our posters. Below are the pictures that I took:
I know that for most of them, the lighting isn't the best so on photoshop I will try to adjust the lighting but in some of the pictures I will keep the dark lighting because it conveys what I want to portray in my digipak.

Digipak feedback
Last week I showed the first draft of my digipak and I got feedback from the whole class including my teacher. Below are some of the feedback sheets that I received.
Many people thought that my digipak had the same pictures on it and they thought I should have some variety so I am going to use some of the pictures that I took the other day as I used different projections. Some people thought that the pictures I used for my digipak, it was clear that they were projections however, with the other photos it didn't look like that so I am going to use that kind of look if I want to take pictures in the future.

First draft of poster
This is the first draft of my poster and I really like the picture that I used because of how the lighting is positioned and this is something that the class liked when I presented it. In the next draft of my poster I am going to include the social media links and a bit more information about the album itself and the new single. I think in the next draft of my digipak and poster I will include these type of pictures as they are a different style but still convey what I want to portray.
First draft of digipak
This is my first draft of my digipak and there are some changes that I need to make to it after I showed it to my class. I am going to change up the pictures on the bottom tiles as they are too similar and I want to have some variation in my digipak.

Our chosen narrative-
After a lot of thought, we have landed on a narrative and for it we are going to include a montage of a build up to the wedding. So for this we will include videos of a bridal party getting ready, which will include videos of the bride getting her makeup done etc. Then for our performance shots we will use a white screen for the projections.
Next week, my group and I will start to test shoot some of the montage parts of the music video and see how they look and if we don't like how they look then we will try different ways. We will start to take pictures of our locations that we are going to use when shooting our music video. We are also going to use a Canon camera but put a super 8 effect on it so it looks very vintage like. We want our music video to look something like this:
We want our music video to look like this because we want our montage to look like a home movie as our wedding isn't going to be a very traditional one.
First ideas for digipaks
These are my first ideas for the front cover of my digipak. I wanted to fade the two images into one to give it a faded effect. I think when it comes to which one I'll use in my final digipak I will use the darker image as it goes with the overall theme of my digipak. But I might use the lighter image on the right for my potential poster as it is a long shot. But after looking at the pictures I took for my digipak, I need to take more pictures as most of them were long shots and there weren't any close ups which would be good for one panel of the digipak.

10 things that could go wrong in our music video-
1. Bad weather-
If this changed when we wanted to film our music video then it could be bad because it could effect how much filming we could get done. To solve this problem, my group and I could schedule another filming date and make sure that our performer is available for this day as well. Also to prevent this from happening my group and I could check the weather for this day a week before and then a day before and then have a different day for filming scheduled.
2. Low battery-
When filming our battery might run really low or run out. This would have an impact on our filming because if we were in the middle of filming then we would have to re shoot and then reschedule a new filming day with our performer. To solve this problem my group and I would ensure that our battery was fully charged and we had a spare fully charged battery with us as it wouldn't slow down our filming process.
3. Performer can't mime well-
When it actually comes to the day when the performer has to mime the song, it may take a couple of takes for the performer to get the miming perfect. After a couple of takes, the group or individual may get tired of re-doing the shot which could be down to the fact that the performer can't mime well. This would have an impact on us as a group because we would have to waste our time trying to find a new performer because they can't mime well. To solve this problem, my group and I could do a few test shoots just so we can see that our performer can mime well so we don't waste any time when we actually want to start shooting our music video.
4. Lighting doesn't work well-
The lighting that we decide to use for our filming may not work well with our setting meaning we may have to stop filming and film another day. This means my group and I will have to reschedule with our performer as well as the rest of the group, this could then waste our time that we could be using to film our music video. This could also make my group and I be very late when trying to meet our deadline resulting in us getting a bad grade.
5. Costume doesn't suit the genre/set-
The costume that my group and I decide to use might not go well with the genre of our music video and the set that we decide to film at. This could be a problem because my group and I would have to re-think about where we would wanna shoot which could be very time consuming and could have an impact on how quickly we finish filming our music video. We also might have to change the whole idea for our costume which would also be very time consuming for us as a group.
6. Problem with location-
When arriving at the location, my group and I could find that the space we wanted to use isn't available anymore which would mean we would have to find another location which would be very time consuming for us as a group. If my group and I have a problem with our location it could mean that we might not have enough time to find a new location meaning our music video might not be the best quality. To prevent this from happening I will make sure that my group and I look at the location properly and visit it enough times and do some practice shoots so we can ensure there isn't a problem.
7. Performers drop out-
On the day of the shoot, our performer might not be able to make because they might be ill on the day or have an emergency they have to attend. To ensure this doesn't happen my group and I will make sure that our performer is able to do the day we arrange and if not we should have a back up day that both the group and performer can do.
8. The whole idea doesn't work-
When my group and I are filming we might discover that the whole idea of our narrative doesn't work meaning we will have to take time to think of a new idea which will be very time consuming. To prevent this from happening, my group and I will look over our storyboards and animatic and discuss our idea with our teacher and make sure they think it is going to be successful when filming.
9. Broken equipment-
Broken equipment would be a problem when filming our music video because my group and I won't be able to film our video the way we wanted to. To prevent this from happening, my group and I will need to make sure that we test out all of the equipment before we use it so nothing is faulty when we go to use it when we actually want to shoot.
10. SD card runs out of memory-
When filming, my group and I will need to make sure that the SD card has enough memory on it so we will need to make sure that we use a bigger SD card. To prevent our SD card running out of memory, we will have to make ensure that nothing is on the SD card before we use it.

Pitch presentation
On Monday, we pitched our artist and music video idea to the class and within this pitch we included who our artist is, what genre she falls under, how our mood board explained our genre, our target audience and what we included in our audience profiles. Once this was done, we then explained the concept of our music video and then went on to show our animatics.
Once we finished the pitch, we received from both our class mates and our teacher. Below are the feedback sheets that we received:
Many people in our class said that we needed to have a better animatic as we didn't have time to do a complete one. Also some people didn't think there was a narrative to our music video which is something that we are going to improve on. However, most people in the class thought we had clearly researched our genre and understood the codes and conventions of it.
Below is our pitch:
